Applying to Live at Crossways Community

We can only accept applications which are initiated and supported by a Social Services (or Community Mental Health Team) Care Manager. This is so that they can support an applicant through the process and provide independent advice. So as to not cause unnecessary disappointment, if you wish to apply for yourself or for a relative/friend, please discuss this with your care manager before contacting Crossways.

Garden (Number 8)How much does it cost to stay at Crossways’ Care Home?

From 1st April 2011, for new applicants we current charge a main rate for residential & rehabilitative care: £785.41 per week. This is the new resident contracted rate we have with Kent County Council. People coming from other authorities, we agree a spot contract price (i.e. an individual price per person) but it will be based on the Kent contracted price.

For people who may need additional support (or a longer application process is required because of Section 37/41 Mental Health Act 1983 as amended) an additional amount on top of the above figure will be required. As very few people fall into this category, please contact us for more details. More details about paying for care
