One of the most common questions asked after an Enhanced Disclosure is submitted is why it takes so long to process. Partly this is due to the complexity of the CRB Process required (most of the time is spent by the police checking for any local intelligence. However an incomplete or badly completed form can add several weeks to an application time.
Handwriting. Block, bold capitals must be used. Any slight confusions as to whether a letter is a “M”, “N” or a “W” for example will add weeks to the overall process as the form is passed to-and-fro between the police and the CRB.
Common Errors Completing the form blue or red ink automatically requires the form to be re-completed. Please only use black ink.
